Hi Dames,

As everyone knows, I've been training up a new league in my own area of the world, in Gloucester, and staying on with the Dames a few practices a month in an effort to finish out the bouting season.

It's been a wacky, unforgettable ride but I'm struggling to keep up the dues/petrol with two leagues, and have pretty much zero time to be a reliable Dame at the end of a day scaffolding a new league. SRT is also starting to get arguably within a month of UKRDA membership, so I need to register with them.

Therefore, I'm coming to practise tonight, but it will be my last one registered with my original league. It's been nearly two years since I showed up (already fully kitted) at my first practise. Blitzdames has changed my life forever and I thank you all for it.

I'd be honoured to skate as a guest with you all anytime, and any of the Blitz Dames members is welcome to skate with us down South if you want to do.

I never got to skate against you! It's not fair! I strangely always wanted to be blocked by Fury...see if its as bad as it looks! I knew this would happen...I'd get better and you'd piss off lol!

Eek, I just read this. You must think I was not bothered when I chatted to you earlier!! Someone made reference to this at practise and I was shocked! I totally understand, but am gutted all the same.

You'll always be a Dame in our hearts and you will be, are, missed greatly. You've taught me so much, not only in Derby, but also about dealing with people in a mature manner, but without taking any shit. And of course, we miss your fabulous wife.

And like I said, Ad and I will be down soon.. perhaps with Tik and Mattius in tow.

So sorry we couldn't make it last night ladies, believe me when I say that we really wanted to. Fury didn't get home from work until 7.15pm, meaning that we wouldn't have been with you until the best part of 9pm last night. As she is also flying off to the US early this morning (we are about to leave for the coach), there was packing etc. to take care of.

However, we are going to come to a Saturday practice in the near future instead so that we can go to Big Wok for some laughs and drinks with you all afterwards. Bring it on Dames, bring it on!
