Post Outdoor wheels
Hey guys

Does anyone have a set of outdoor wheels they wanna offload for some cashola? I don't mind if they're real crap - I just wanna be able to go outdoors and can't really afford a new set from SinCity at the moment - Let me know :)

I have a set of Radar Zens that I will probably never use. I'll bring them along to Saturday's practice.

Kyles, you're awesome! But make sure you're prepared to part with them...I don't want you missing them in 3 months time - I'd feel awful!

I lent someone a set of black outdoor wheels last year, can't remember who (might have been Eliza Dolethal, which reminds me she's gone very quiet anyone heard how she is?) anyone want to give 'em back? or let me know they are still being used outside, in which case keep 'em....!

I want to get some too - I had a look at Kates skate shop at they are about £45 for 8, does that sound reasonably priced?

Yes I have battered my wheels going outside, all the grip is wearing off already - poor wheels :(

I thought it was about ABEC 5s for outdoors and 7-9 indoors??? I think Fury told me that 5s were good....

As far as I understand I don't think it really matters... I have skated outdoors using SG aerobic outdoor wheels with ABEC1's and lived to tell the tale hehe!

I've similarly heard that lots of derby skaters disregard the ABEC ratings and just go for known brands like Bones or Reds. I know Jerry Attric from the LRD swears by his Bones.

All I can say is that I have Sure Grip Aerobics with Abec 1's, and they seem fine (when I can keep upright, that is).
