Hi All,
For those of you in Derbyland who don't know yet, we took the most incredible win against GRG yesterday in Glasgow. Score was 80 - 83 in the most nail-biting, edge-of-your-seat bout I've ever had the privilege to be involved in.

Saturday 21st February
cheer GRG 80 - BBDD 83 cheer
Yesterday was one of my proudest moments as a Blitz Dames. Despite injuries and absences, our 10 skaters proved more than a match for GRG! And we took our victory with dignity - well done all Very Happy
Glagow were great hosts. The venue was a real pleasure to skate in and GRG really pulled out all the stops - on and off the track - to make this a really great bout.
I LOVE the DAMES! and more to the point - I'm honoured to be one of you!
Attack & UJ - as captain and vice you two are really awesome. Despite both being ejected! BlitzDames really have double the double trouble with the pair of you jamming and blocking!
Bee - The last jam when you kept getting up to that jammer and knocking her down was one of the greatest things I've seen on the track Very Happy
Fury - Working with you up front is just the most fun. GRG's jammers really had a hard time of it, but at least they got to check out our asses a lot Wink
Bunny - You're never scared of anything and seeing you hop through a wall of three of GRG's biggest skaters was brilliant!
Kiki - You took some great hits! Can't wait to see these on play back!
Elle - you were on that jammer, holding her back and chasing her down if she dared to sneak past you!
Roisin - Man, you don't have an off switch! Jamming till you puked then blocking with your boney hips of steel! Very Happy
VC - You're a real asset on the track, you're a good hitter, nearly impossible to take down and everytime I looked you were exactly where I needed you!
Ladies - y'all are the best! cheer
