A-a-anyhoo, there is only just over a week to get your outfit sorted out for the BBDD Awards Ceremony at Subside on Sunday 30th August.
Our photographer Jenny will be there to capture your arrival, so make sure you are dressed to make a stunning entrance.

I have my outifit 95% finished, just researching vintage hair styles so I've got some pics to give to my hairdresser on Saturday! Bit hard though cos my hair is so short, but I've manged to find pics of Liz Taylor and Dorothy Dandrigde rocking short hair from the 40's/50's.

Need some vintage style big jewlery too.

Got everything apart from my jewlery. Gonna be channeling Gilda, with a hint of Gloria Swanson and alot of Attack! (waits for half the Dames to go 'Who?'!) :cool:

Getting very excited! Been screeching along to my Lady Sings the Blues album to get my self in the mood!

I am so envious about all of you dames that can afford new dresses for the event!

I will be wearing an old brown sack and paper jewellery fashioned from advertising leaflets that come through my door on a regular basis.

Lashes, if you really are doing a sack and jewellery made from leaflets you will still look charmingly (not to mention sickeningly) glam.

sadly have to keep the dress for another occasion, family arrangements have been made so i definitely won't be around on sunday.
