Saturday 25th April (Basic Skills)

Hi skaters

So i'm afraid I have a clash of schedules this weekend, and won't make it to practice (but will be at LRG bout).

VC - you're leading practice and it's Basic skills week. I'll write practice and email it to you Friday evening.

To make it easy - all Derby momma's will be responsibe for logging their newbies progress.

There will be some Momma's not there so please pair up the spare newbies with a foster mother.

Everything will need to be recorded and lap times written down - i'll email details with practice to VC.

RR - Can you pick me up on way to London? I need to kennel sadie - but will be back and ready to go from 1.30pm?

I don't think I can make practice either this Saturday, sorry. i am aware my parenting skills have been found wanting but my derby daughters are very competent! I do however have the track and pads bags so will hand them over to someone who has car and will be there... either thursday practice or could deliver after 10 on thursday night or friday evening...?

Can I drop them with someone? or can someone pick them up from me?

Just to join the bandwagon i won't be there either :-( going to the big smoke too. I think i am destined never to pass basic skills. I am hoping to sweet talk these trainer women ino letting me just do a time trial one of the weeks that is not basic skills. Maybe one a week until I pass!!! :-)

I was going to be skating this Saturday, but I've got two houses to view and the only time it can be done is Saturday unfortunately. Although I'm excited about the prospect of moving house!!

Sorry Sin-Momma, but then it's not like I'll be passing basic skills any time soon! I think I'm waiting til I'm the last person who has a Derby Momma so I can get all the attention - haha! Good luck all those who are doing basic skills, and Lashes, I will get that money to you when I next come to practice, promise.

Practice is 10am to 1pm so plenty of time to go to practice and travel! Just saying xxx

tricky by public transport i'd say....might just be done if you ran to gravelly hill, got lucky with a quick train to new street, quick change onto direct train to euston, then tube .... but difficult with skate gear...
