Bursting from the ether realm called the Über-ViXen Dimension, ViX is perhaps best known up until this point as the lead singer/songwriter of internationally chart-topping schoolgirl band We’ve got a …Fuzzbox… and we’re gonna use it!!

All fired up after touring the UK and Japan as backing vocalist in Ginger and the Sonic Circus, the flame-haired rock goddess has assembled a brand spanking new all-girl band ViX n the Kix comprising Bexx, Louise and Sarah, bursting with talent and brimming with sexy burlesque-y yumminess to promote her new album Moon On A Stick (to be released Summer 2008).

Produced by ViX and Neil ‘Thor’ Darbyshire (The Wildhearts, Ginger & the Sonic Circus, Julian Marley), Mark Wallis (U2, The Smiths, Travis) and with Conny Bloom (Hanoi Rocks, Electric Boys) as executive producer, this is Blondie/Pretenders inspired candy-coated rock ‘n’ roll at its tastiest.

ViX turned down lucrative Fuzzbox comeback tours and re-hash albums in the interim years says: “I loved my fuzzy days, but that was then and this is now. I’m really enjoying getting out ‘n’ about gigging with my bostin band and can’t wait for the release of the album!”

Recent gigs: Robots In Disguise, Fun Lovin' Criminals, Arrested Development, The Christians, JD and Bud international festivals.

Forthcoming tours: UK, Middle East, South Africa, Asia, Italy etc.

Final Score was Team Canada 158 to Blitz Dames 69.

It was a hard game --- Team Canada had two bouts to pull their strategy together --- and they were well rested, fed and watered... we skated our best on the day --- considering half our team are some of the bravest rookie skaters I've personally ever skated with --- to have the punk rock panty-hamsters to take on TC as their first bout! AWESOME!

It was a clean game, a fun game and we all learned loads. Bring on the training Dames --- let's get set for mixed scimmage party & Hell on Wheels European preimere... plus we've got London Rollergirls as our first bout next season October 25th!

Derby Love to Team Canada for making the journey to skate against us... Espeically Hoochie, if it wasn't for our initial conversations at RollerCon last year --- this would never have happened!

Thank you all volunteers, friends, family, rollergirls and fans who came to support us.

x
